Teen adderall abuse
Adderall is one of the many stimulants abused by teens. This drug targets the central nervous system. It affects the chemicals in the brain and neuroreceptors in the brains that control concentration and hyperactivity.
Adderall is meant to be swallowed as it slowly releases its medicine and takes effect. Teens are however taking more than prescribed and are also chewing the drug causing its medicine to be released immediately. This constant abuse can lead to a drug overdose, especially in teens who are not prescribed the drug.
