Inspirations for Youth and Families Dr. James Hughes appears on Time Warner Cable Show

Dr. James Hughes, who is the CEO of Inspirations for Youth and Families drug and alcohol treatment center as well as a renowned public figure in the drug and alcohol addiction profession was featured on a New York City Time Warner Cable television show, which airs to 10 million viewers in the Tri-State area.

The television program – in which Dr. Hughes fielded call-in questions from parents – is a Lifestyle and Senior Living show. The program will be broadcast in early 2016. The format of the show was questions and answers directed to Dr. Hughes about parental topics involving drug and alcohol abuse, such as what are the warning signs that a parent’s teen has a drug or alcohol problem.

While this was Dr. Hughes cameo appearance, he is expected to return to the show next year – once again as a drug and alcohol addiction media analyst.

“I am extremely grateful for the invitation to this highly viewed Time Warner program,” said Dr. Hughes, who lists Dr. Phil on his impressive television guest appearances resume. “If I just helped one parent in preventing his or her teen from succumbing to drug or alcohol abuse then I achieved my goal by participating on the show.”

Dr. Hughes, who runs both Inspirations for Youth and Families teen rehab and the Cove Center for Recovery adult addiction treatment center is no stranger to the tri-state area. He was born in New Jersey and lived there for a considerable amount of time before moving to South Florida. In January, Dr. Hughes will have an opportunity to become reacquainted with his home state when Inspirations for Youth and Families opens a satellite office in New Jersey.

While in New York, Dr. Hughes spent some time visiting some of his favorite tourist attractions including the Freedom Tower, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building.
