Inspirations teens celebrate Easter with delicious snacks!
Inspirations teen rehab kicked off Easter by learning how to make a delicious desert. Our kids are taught how to make this colorful and fun treat for themselves and to share it with others. As part of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Inspirations offers – cooking has proven to be extremely therapeutic. The Inspirations IOP teens were taught this tasty snack through the Inspirations Nutritional course offered by our Education program.
“A lot of the kids were sad about not being with their family for easter so it brought everyone together for a fun-filled day.”
-Zanteria, an Inspirations teen client.
Inspirations Nutritional Course
This nutritional course teaches our teens the importance of what we place into our bodies. Teens not only learn the negative effects of drugs on our body. Additionally, Inspirations also teaches our teens how healthy food can strengthen their body and brain. Each recipe is broken down to a single ingredient for the teens to learn how to create.
They also learn about each recipe’s nutritional value. Secondly, they are taught how to prep and cook. Every lesson teaches our teens how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Be sure to try some of our other popular recipes such as heart shaped pancakes, egg in a hashbrown, and self-churned icecream.
