To better inform everyone, we had a roundtable discussion with teens from Inspirations for Youth
and Families about drug and street terms everyone may want to know. The definition below is based
on collective information gathered from teens within our rehab and online research.

MDMA is a club drug being used all across the country despite its harmful effects. It is currently an illegal substance ruled by the DEA along with its other counterparts such as ecstasy or molly. For teens, this drug is very accessible and taken often in a party or club setting.
The drug is being taken as a pill, tablet or capsule. It is also being snorted through the nasal passage. MDMA’s has gained its popularity from its producing euphoric feelings. Some side effects of this drug are muscle spasms, dizziness, and anxiety.
