Co-Owner & Co-Founder
Christopher Walsh, co-owner at Inspirations, is a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with 10 years experience in substance abuse and addiction treatment and 15 years in nursing. Chris’ vision for Inspirations is to continue to enhance the teen addiction treatment facility for parents and their teenagers. Chris is known to roll-up his sleeves and often answer admission calls – as he keeps his attention on the pulse of Inspirations – offering parents the information and comfort they seek during the emotional transition of starting a life journey for the family. As a professional and a parent, he recognizes this difficult yet hopeful time in each families’ life and works to make each person’s stay at Inspirations rewarding and successful.
Prior to opening Inspirations in 2007, Chris was operating a successful residential drug and alcohol treatment program for adults with co-owner and wife Karen Walsh. After receiving a tremendous amount of calls from parents searching for a teen residential program, the couple decided to create a treatment facility just for teens.
Chris is extremely active in the community. He has created teen-centric development programs with Nat Moore and the Miami Dolphins as a sponsor of the Inspirations “Hero of the Week.” He also supports the Boca Raton Police Athletic Association, the Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, and the popular “Paul and Young Ron,” radio show. Inspirations’ teens benefit appreciably from these relationships by attending Miami Dolphin Football games as well as having local celebrities visit the facility to perform motivational speeches.
